@EcoForumZ hmmm once you reach 40km/h you hit wind barrier and than need twice the power to over come that. Same with cars.

I’ve changed rear …
I’ve changed rear sprocket to 16 teeth and use 36V battery and get 40km/h max.

walmart is selling …
walmart is selling the bike for $150 in morgantown, pa. but it doesn’t have the battery. Call ezip and there sell you one for $69 plus shipping.

After reading some …
After reading some of the posts, it seems clear that the advanced battery will still work fine as long as maximum speed is only used as a type of ‘getaway’ emergency speed, otherwise, going 15 mph will still get you there, with enough power for a return trip. Doh!

Just 36v can fry …
Just 36v can fry the motor so 48v will fry it very fast. Enjoy the speed while it lasts cause it won’t last long.

Try to peddle a bike like this to 27mph not going to happen. Even while doing 27mph I was unable to get to 29mph.
24v battery = 18mph
36v battery = 27mph
