Where can I sell used mountain bikes in the New York City area?

Have 6 used mountain bikes good for minor repairs or parts(All are in riding condition). Huffy & Roadmaster names. Some minor rust, slightly bent rims or minor tweeks. Willing to sell as package deal or individually. Can anyone help? or Any takers?

If you were merely asking for advice on how to sell used bikes in your area that would be acceptable (just go down to the street corner with a for sale sign), but the additional details qualify your question as a violation of the yahoo! answers guidelines.

I think your best bet would be E-bay or give an add on Craigslist….Good Luck.

Don’t do EBay for cheap parts-bikes, Craig’s List would be better for cheapo bikes. If you do EBay, list as pick up only.

go to yahoo groups home page, and type in the area where you live and sell as a keyword you will find a bunch of groups who buy and sell things.

These are bottom end bikes, and are of little value. You’d be lucky to get $50 for all of them. Sorry, these bikes are’nt even worth fixing. I’d donate them to the Goodwill. Maybe someone could fix them up and give them to poor kids who would’nt other-wise have a bike.
